Real Madrid’s star, Alvaro Morata has agreed to join Arsenal on a loan deal in January according to reports.
Morata who is currently chased by a host of European clubs is very much interested in a move to the Premier League and has chosen a move to Arsenal rather than Tottenham Hotspurs.
With the current attacking line-up at Real Madrid involving the likes of Gareth bale, Christiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema, Alvaro Morata has found it difficult getting a starting shirt in the Laliga side. The Spanish U-21 star has scored 2 goals so far for Madrid this season.
With the current dependence on Olivier Giroud who happens to be the only reliable striker in the squad no thanks to an in-form Nicklas Bendtner, Arsene Wenger would like to take advantage of a loan move for a player like Morata just before the transfer window. The Frenchman has seen a £7 million deal for Alexandre Pato rejected by Brazilian club, Corinthians last week and would now want to quickly bring in Morata on loan before pushing for a big striker signing in January,.
Alvaro Morata would not be the only one linked to Arsenal this week as players like Youssouf Mulumbu and Julian Draxler have also been strongly linked to the club.
